Magento has released a new upgrade for Magento which includes the SUPEE-6788 Patch Bundle. Note that this upgrade can break some modules which are not correctly coded.
I have tested the upgrade thru Magento Connect Manager but it failed.
I am testing in CLI mode :
chmod 755 mage sudo -u www-data ./mage list-upgrades sudo -u www-data ./mage upgrade-all
Note: I recommend you to perform the upgrade on a test environment first.
I have the same error in command line
Error: upgrade-all: Failed to delete files: /home/data/www/magento_dev/./pkginfo/Mage_All_Latest.txt Check permissions Error: upgrade-all: Package community/Interface_Adminhtml_Default 220.127.116.11 conflicts with: community/Mage_All_Latest 18.104.22.168 Error: upgrade-all: Package community/Interface_Frontend_Default 22.214.171.124 conflicts with: community/Mage_All_Latest 126.96.36.199 Error: upgrade-all: Package community/Interface_Install_Default 188.8.131.52 conflicts with: community/Mage_All_Latest 184.108.40.206 Error: upgrade-all: Package community/Mage_Downloader 220.127.116.11 conflicts with: community/Mage_All_Latest 18.104.22.168 Error: upgrade-all: Package community/Mage_Centinel 22.214.171.124 conflicts with: community/Mage_All_Latest 126.96.36.199 ...
On stack exchange, there are some idea how to proceed.
Ok I seem I have passed this step :
# cd pkginfo # rm -Rf Mage_All_Latest.txt Mage_All.txt # cd .. # sudo -u www-data ./mage upgrade-all Installing package community/Mage_All_Latest 188.8.131.52 Package community/Mage_All_Latest 184.108.40.206 installed successfully Starting to download Interface_Adminhtml_Default-220.127.116.11.tgz ... ...done: 1,014,275 bytes Installing package community/Interface_Adminhtml_Default 18.104.22.168 Package community/Interface_Adminhtml_Default 22.214.171.124 installed successfully Starting to download Interface_Frontend_Default-126.96.36.199.tgz ... ...done: 747,738 bytes Installing package community/Interface_Frontend_Default 188.8.131.52 ...
After this step, the frontend is no longer working and I have an error :
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
So remove the maintenance.flag file 😀 !
The clear the cache, rebuild the indexes and run the compilation.
It seems working but one of my module no longer works ! Magento 184.108.40.206 have now a white of blocks allowed to run. So don’t forget to add your block in System -> Permissions -> Blocks
My production server is now updated and it is working 🙂
